Filling those cavities with dense stone wool absorbs airborne sound, and Safe’n’Sound adds non-combustible fire resistance between rooms at the same time.

- Can I add Safe'n'Sound to an existing wall?
- It is installed in open stud cavities, so the drywall on one side must be removed. It is easiest during a remodel.
