Fiberglass or Cellulose?

Fiberglass (Climate Pro, InsulSafe SP): lighter, fewer bags, doesn't absorb moisture.
Cellulose (Greenfiber): denser, slows air movement, deadens sound, made from recycled paper.

How Many Bags?

Every bag has a coverage chart listing bags per 1,000 sq ft and minimum depth for each R-value. Multiply by your attic area and round up.

Blown-In vs Batts

Blown-in fills around obstructions and is faster on big attics; batts are easier for DIY in open, regular framing.
