Stretching foil across hundreds of rafters in a hot, cramped attic is hard on the material. A woven scrim layer laminated into this radiant barrier stops rips from spreading when it’s pulled, stapled or snagged on a nail. It’s the product our crews prefer for large attics and for homes where the barrier will be handled a lot, such as attics with frequent service access.
