QuietCool AFG PRO-3.0: Push Hot Air Out of Your Attic
On a hot day an attic can reach 140°F or more, baking your insulation, ductwork and the ceilings below. A gable attic fan pulls that superheated air out and draws cooler outside air in through the soffit vents. The AFG PRO-3.0 is QuietCool’s larger professional gable fan, mounting directly behind an existing gable vent with no roof cutting.

Make Sure It Can Breathe

- Yes. The fan needs enough intake area to replace the air it exhausts; otherwise it can pull conditioned air from the house.
- Is the AFG PRO-3.0 or a whole house fan better?
- An attic fan cools the attic. A whole house fan pulls cool evening air through the living space and exhausts it through the attic, cooling both.
